We’re flying from Manchester to Orlando on July 21st – the day the final Harry Potter is due to be released. We have to leave the house at 7am, which is way before our post arrives, so we’ve cancelled our original order. So my question is do you think the book will be available at the airport at about 9am? There is a WHSmith’s there, which usually stock new releases. Please help, because this is unnaturally important to us! My sister and I are desperate to read it, and an 8 hour transatlantic flight would be an ideal time to do it rather than when we’ve actually arrived.
No insulting my question please – we’re serious about this!

I really doubt that you could get it in an airport book store to be honest. Since it’s a hot seller. If you don’t mind not sleeping, you could try going to one of the bookstores that will open their doors at midnight and getting it then. However you probably won’t be able to get one, since more people pre-ordered their books before hand.

Well some bookstores are actually having parties the night before, since the book comes out at midnight on July 21. So you could go to the “party” and wait for a really long time to get the book at midnight. And, like it was said, not sleep. But hey, you can sleep on the plane!
