(Hermione because she was a "mudblood" and Scout because her father was defending a black man.) -Neither are very girly and they fight for themselves. DIFFERENT: -Well... the obvious, of course. Hermione is a witch. -Scout isn't as mature, and doesn't fully understand concepts such as why the mistreatment of African Americans is wrong. Hermione always understands that mistreatment it wrong. -Scout (though she may be ridiculed) never is actually judged for what she is. She is different, but she is still white, so she doesn't understand what it's like to have someone be prejudice against you the way Hermione does. ALIKE:
